While taking a shower tonight I came to a realization. I have this idea in my head of trying to help people and love them, in the US and abroad. However I realized that in the majority of these cases I have no real thought of, or concern for, their happiness. Now I realize that happiness isn’t everthing, but just as we want our spouses, children, family and friends to be happy we should want to see those we care about helping in the world happy. I guess it all comes back to where your heart is on the matter… more to come later.
