Catching Up

It’s been 9 long months since my last post on this blog, though I’ve not been entirely absent from WordPress.  I have been focusing primarily on my other blogs Ancient Abandon: Blogging Through Song or Voyage to the End of Me and most recently RebornPublications: Where the Journey Begins.  As you can see, the last 3 posts below were driven by the 2012 election season.  If you’ve been following me for any length of time you’ve probably realized that I thoroughly enjoy politics.  When I started this blog back in 2009 I was studying Political Science and International Studies at the University of South Florida.  However, as with many things, I feel that I got in too deep.  It was to a point when I had written this that I was acting and speaking as though the hope of the world was in the political arena.  Perhaps it is from the deeply held desire to change the world or maybe I just got consumed with the crazy American election season.

Nonetheless, during this time off I have withdrawn a  bit from the world of politics and technology.  I’m not going to go into how or why right now but if you’re interested in reading about it check out Your Own Political Jesus, or A Thought on Citizenship.  I have been blessed with opportunities to teach and answer questions from others (see Ancient Abandon for more) and I recently picked back up on a story that I started back in 2009 but have not had the time or the desire to work on.

About a year back I tried to give this blog a direction to follow, much like Ancient Abandon’s preaching/teaching focus or RebornPublications creative element, but to be honest I’m not really sure where to go with it.  It’s seeming to be a kind of catch all for whatever comes to mind that doesn’t fall into the other categories and truth be told I kind of like that.  I believe that was actually the reason I started it way back when anyway!  So all of this to simply say:

I have no idea where this is going to go from here.

If something looks interesting I hope you enjoy it and it’s beneficial.  Until next time.
